New bands...old sounds...
Now Playing: Poster Child - All Trust Lost
So, I'm sitting here listening to posterchilds two song demo, and I gotta tell ya, I'm impressed. One of the newest bands on the label, we just finished a third rate demo (they needed a coupla hundred copies for thier mid April show) and even if the sound qualities not great...the music is. Kinda a weird cross between Undividual and real old skool Soul Erosion (does any one else remember the tape with the great line "I see someone waving a swastika and I try not to wave my dick" If anyone has a copy, please make me one...). We hope to have it available for download soon. Thanxforn0thing, the greatest band that never plays? Well, it's true, tfn hasn't done much publicly lately, with horrific work schedules and the like, but they aren't wasting time and soon we should have some rough demos from their next CD, tenetively titled "Blood and Honor". It should be a breakaway disc, and from what I've heard...some metal bands are gonna be pissed. Wait till you hear "7.62x39".
Twitch...yeah...that twitch...is getting ready to start rehearsing for the first time in 4 years. Eventually, we hope for a CD and some shows, but it is gonna take a little time.
Another new band has joined the label, and we're looking for a June release date for the debut of "Uncle Joey and the Co-dependants." More on that later...
So, as you can tell, even though we are the brokest label in the history of music, we are working hard to bring it all to you. We've reached a couple of agreements with local labels and friends, and soon we believe that we will be a self sufficient label. We are also looking into becoming a non-profit organization after the experiment to keep the ideal alive.
One last thing...MERCH IS REALLY REALLY ON THE WAY!! We'll have the first misprint stickers available for sale in the first week of May as well as tfn stickers. Poster Child and twitch stickers shouldn't be far behind.
Well, I think that's everything...peace.
